Access to businesses and homes
Pedestrians will be able to get to businesses, shops and homes at all times.
Access for vehicles and deliveries will continue, but please make your suppliers and couriers aware of the road work as they may need to access the street from a different end than usual.
Cyclists need to dismount next to work areas where access is only available along the pavements.
Road closures and parking
Street notices and information boards will tell you about changes to parking or access. Please do not park within any closed or coned off areas as we will remove vehicles.
If your vehicle is uplifted and relocated elsewhere, please follow the information on the site notices on how to recover your vehicle. Alternatively, you can call NSL on 0131 555 1742 or Police Scotland on 101.
Waste collections
Waste collections will run as normal. If we do need to make any changes to your service, our contractor will let you know.
