We are starting work on Monday 1 December on the final stage of the project. This involves widening and resurfacing pavements and making any temporary measurements permanent, as was agreed by the Council's Traffic Regulation Orders Sub-Committee in November 2024.

We will start work on phase two on 21 August 2023. We will be widening pavements and improving crossings.
This will make it easier for people walking in the area and address some of the issues with narrow and sub-standard pavements on key streets. These include:
- Corstorphine High Street
- Junction of Featherhall Terrace at Featherhall Avenue
- Junction of Kirk Loan at Saughton Road North
- Junction of Dovecot Road at Ladywell Avenue
- Junction of Featherhall Avenue at Ladywell Road
